Lookout Nascar! The chickens are running here in Arkansas. Andrew (16) recently comes in the house cracking up, laughing. Seems the chicks have started their own Nascar qualifying event. One had a HUGE bug in its beak, about the size of the chicks head, and was running from all the others chasing it. Another would steal the prize, and off the race would go. They were running in a circle in the brooder and with every bug exchange would run in the opposite direction. Now these were only Philip's birds. Andrew's and Clayton's were on the sideline, in the bleachers, watching intently. Guess they were "egging" on their favorites. ( OK, I hear the groan, I know that was a bad one, but you must admit, pretty funny.)
