I am not old. I have no problem saying my age-47. Middle age, I always thought. Apparently not. I received my very own, personalized AARP card today. Thought that was for old people. I AM NOT OLD. Who do they think they are? Hurt my feelings, ruined my whole day. Or, what I could remember of it.

I was at a patients home the other day, she is 2 years older than me, she looks to be 15 years older than she is. She babysits her grandkids and she said "oh wait til you have grandkids" I told her that would be a long time off as my daughter was busy with work and school, furtherest thing from her mind and Tyler... poor kid, all he can do is study. Anyway, she asked me how old I was, I told her 43 and she "Oh! I thought you were older than me." I about died!!!!! I got back in my car.... looked in the mirror, called my friend Lynne and asked her do I look old??? I am heading to walmart and get the latest creams to make me young again!!!!!
