Tree

Philip is mad at me. I won't let him put up the Christmas tree. Yes, you read me right. Yes, he knows it is not yet Halloween. He doesn't care. He wants to put up the Christmas tree. Maybe the fact that he thinks he is too old to go trick or treating, thus depriving me of free candy which everyone knows tastes so much better than anything you can buy, has something to do with it. I think he justs likes knowing he soon will be getting PRESENTS. He doesn't pull the wool over these OLD eyes (see previous post). As soon as the tree goes up, he starts begging for an "Early" present. Sound familiar? Hasn't happened yet, but hope springs eternal, especially in the heart of a child.
