Bible Challenge

I am picking up the gauntlet thrown down by my 14 year old niece. Check it out here. Here is my verse for the day MM: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; Romans 1:16
SIL Kaye said I needed to share my witness for the day. Here it is. While at work today, a lady came in for food pantry. She said (and I quote) "I can tell by looking at you that you are saved". Was that just awesome or what! She wanted to talk to me about some personal issues in her life and how it would affect her getting into heaven. Her mother had told her she would not go to heaven because she would not speak to her sister (who had slept with her husband). I told her my belief was that you only got to heaven by being saved and that you could not lose your salvation by not associating with someone who had hurt you deeply. I told her to pray for herself to be able to deal with the situation and eventually forgive them. That does not mean that you have to hang out with them but God will give you grace to deal with it. Now, I know a lot of people will not agree with me, but that is what I believe. So, how was YOUR day?
